September Case of the Month: Breeding Season!
As breeding season has come to a close for another year, we wanted to take an opportunity to congratulate and brag on our expecting mares from this season.
Cedar Vista Stables
Cedar Vista Stables is expecting two pony foals next year!
“Becky” is a young Welsh Section B pony in foal to “Bodyguard”, a German-bred imported Weser-Ems stallion; and “Wish List” is a 15-year-old American Sport Pony bred to “Clanfair Mirabeau”, an imported English-bred Welsh Section B stallion.
Silverstone Equestian
Silverstone Equestrian is expecting a foal by “Banderas”, an Oldenburg stallion owned by Dreamscape Farms from their mare “Rave On”, a 8-year old warmblood mare; and their 15-year-old Selle Francais mare “Audition” (co-owned with Chantelle Wignall) is expecting a 2022 foal by “Light My Fire”, a Hanoverian stallion also of Dreamscape Farms.
Karlena Farms
And Karlena Farms is expecting 3 miniature horse foals for 2022:
Silver Birches She’s So Fine was bred by artificial insemination (not a common practice in the miniature horse world yet!) to Hunterberry Hills Jess Marvelous of Amaretto Miniatures.
Jess Charming was bred on-farm for a 2022 foal to Alacazam, owned by Karlena Farms.
And Silver Belles has been confirmed in foal to Karlena Farms’ stallion Comanche Moon for a 2022 foal.
