May: Cari and Misha – Foals!

The long awaited Spring is always welcomed especially when it brings FOALS! This Spring we had two lovely and healthy little foals delivered in May. Cari, a paint filly, was eager and popped out first, then a week later, Misha, a bay colt, also joined his mother’s side. Both their owners share a similar breeding story.

The two young ladies are long time dedicated horse lovers and owners who wanted to breed their maiden mares. As exciting as the breeding process was, it also had some challenges, such as timing the ordering and receiving of viable semen. However, both maiden mares were successfully bred last June by artificial insemination. As you can see from the wonderful photos, after 11 long months, both owners shared in the memorable experience of seeing these beautiful and healthy foals at birth. These lucky ladies will enjoy watching their foals grow and become their future mounts. Congratulations!
